EMERGENCY services were called to a collision in Rainford this morning.
At around 10am on Tuesday, April 5, a blue Audi 4x4 is reported to have crashed into two parked cars on Rookery Lane, Rainford.
The collision caused significant damage to the Audi and the parked Vauxhall Adam that it crashed into.
The impact also caused damage to a black BMW which was parked in front of the Vauxhall, after the vehicle was pushed into it at force.
Police and an ambulance were called to the incident, but the Audi driver did not suffer serious injuries and was not taken to hospital.
The crash caused some traffic in the area as the vehicle was blocking the road, but has since been removed.
Confirming the details of the incident, a Merseyside Police spokesperson said:
"At around 10am today (Tuesday 5 April) officers were called to a report of a collision on Rookery Lane in Rainford St Helens involving a blue Audi and a parked black BMW.
"An ambulance was called but no injuries were reported.
"The vehicle was blocking the road and was later removed from the scene.."
