POLICE have issued an image appeal after receiving a report that two teenage girls were approached by a man who asked to take their picture.
Officers believe the man pictured may have information in connection with the incident which happened earlier this month in Eccleston.
At around 8pm on Friday, July 9, two teenage girls were walking on Church Lane when they were approached by a man who asked to take their picture.
The girls walked off and were left distressed.

Community Policing Sergeant Andy Halfpenny said: “We’d like to speak to the man pictured as he may hold information to assist our investigation.
“This was a worrying incident and we’re in contact with both victims and their families as our enquiries continue. The girls did the right thing by walking off and we’d ask anyone with information to contact us via @MerPolCC or 101 with reference 21000479653.”
