Well, its over isnt it, and my final blog entry of the season.

Its been fun sharing it with you guys, and I hope you have felt what its like to be a fan who travels from the North East on a weekly basis to follow Saints, and spend time in St Helens, meeting new people as well.Saints had a great season, winning 3 out of 4 trophies available, and the grand final was just a step too far.

I've worked it out ive spent about 7000 miles travelling to the super league games and the finals. Its been fun, and tiring and expensive too, but all worth it in the end.

My highs are my camping weekend at easter, wembley, and my trip to kr en route to wales on my hols.

My lows are the grand final result, the quinns game at the start of the season, where it took me hours to get down to see a whitewash of snow, and a defeat.

My biggest high though was the Steve Prescott, trans pennine walk at the end of the season, where i walked about 50 miles in 3 days with Steve and some other walkers who did the full walk. Very hard, and also very emotional too, but a great cause and a succesful one too. That to me put the whole season in to perspective, it may be our sport, it may be our lives, but compared to someone who is battling cancer, its nothing and its only a game. Good luck Prekkie, your a top man.

Until I speak to you all again sometime, have fun, and keep smiling
