TWO men charged with possessing a baton in public in the town centre are to appear in court.
Mark Charles, 36, and Christopher Ellis Holden, 24, both of Delph Hollow Way, Sutton have been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
They are accused of possessing a retractable baton on Corporation Street on May 9, 2018.
Charles and Holden are due before Merseyside Magistrates’ Court today. (Tuesday)
