A 10-YEAR-OLD “sassy” singer narrowly missed out at a place in the semi final of ITV’s The Voice Kids during a vocal battle with two of her teammates.
Jennifer King from Newton-le-Willows appeared on the battles part of the show on Thursday, where she sang Jess Glynne’s Don’t be So Hard on Yourself alongside Brooke and Charlie - also on team Danny Jones.
All three, who dubbed themselves The Flossers after the dance move taking most of the UK by storm, impressed the judges but it was Brook who got through to the finals.
Her proud mum Beatriz said: “We are all very proud of Jenny, she’s very driven and knows what she wants to be in life.
“The whole process was amazing, The Voice Kids is an amazing show for giving children the opportunity.”
