EMERGENCY services were called to a busy road this afternoon, Wednesday, after reports were made about the "concerns for the safety of a woman".
Police and paramedics were sent to the scene at Linkway West in St Helens at around 1.20pm.
A Merseyside Police spokesman said the situation has now been resolved.
A road closure was in place as emergency services attended but it has now been reopened.
