A CONVICTED drug dealer who police had issued an appeal for help in tracing has been recalled to prison, say officers.

On Friday, police issued an appeal to trace22-year-old Mert Gereck.

Gereck was sentenced to three years in prison for the possession of drugs with intent to supply and was released on licence on Thursday, June 29, 2017.

His licence was revoked on Friday, April 13 and police launched extensive efforts to find him, appealing for pubic help.

Police confirmed he has now been found and recalled to prison.
