MORE than £25,000 worth of tools and machinery have been stolen from a van in St Helens.
The incident happened overnight between March 25 and 26 when the a Vauxhall Vivaro van was parked on The Shires, St Helens.
The tools that were stolen have some distinct features including the name of their rightful owner which makes them easily identifiable.
Anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously around the time of the incident or has seen similar tools on buy/sell/swap websites is asked to call 101 or report via our social media desk @MerPolCC quoting crime ref: 18200064024.
Police had already issued a separate appeal over stolen tools from vans in Newton-le-Willows this month.
