FOUR men and two youths have been charged after police discovered a large cannabis farm with an annual yield of £4m in the early hours of Good Friday.
At about 4.25am officers were called to a report of "suspicious activity" involving two vans on Loughrigg Avenue, Clinkham Wood.
Patrols attended and following enquiries six men were arrested.
A search of a property resulted in a cannabis farm containing 1,000 plants and seedlings being discovered.
The six men have since been charged with production of cannabis and remanded in custody.
Those charged are:
• Giang Van Hoang, 37, of Webb Street, Liverpool
• Le Vaiz Huang, 25, of no fixed address
• Lian Huang, of no fixed address
• Dan Van Le, 30, of Greenleaf Street, Toxteth
• A 15-year-old boy of no fixed address
• A 16-year-old boy of no fixed address
Hoang, Huang, Huang and Van Le appeared at South Sefton Magistrates' Court on Monday (April 2) and are next due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday, April 13.
The two youths are due to appear at Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, April 3.
