A 23-YEAR-OLD man has been questioned by detectives on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting in Haydock.
Police have been investigating after a 44-year-old man was blasted in the legs at around 4.40pm on School Street at its junction with West End Road on Monday, February 26.
He was taken to hospital for treatment to leg injuries consistent with a shotgun discharge.
Police have confirmed a 23-year-old man from Wigan was arrested this week in connection with the incident and taken into custody for questioning.
He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
