Reports of man knocking on car windows asking for money on East Lancs
POLICE have spoken to a man after he had approached vehicles on the East Lancashire Road asking for money.
Officers were called to a concern for safety after the man had knocked on the windows of cars asking for money in Carr Mill yesterday afternoon.
Police attended the area at around 4.30pm.
A Merseyside Police spokeswoman said: "Officers attended the scene and spoke to the male about the dangers of his actions and walking into both live and stationary traffic and he has since left the area".
