PLANNING permission has been granted for the creation of 48 houses and 18 apartments on a field in Fingerpost.
The application, initially submitted to the council in August, seeks to create 46 two-bedroom houses, two three-bedroom houses and 18 one-bedroom flats with associated car parking, landscaping and a new access road.
Approval has been given for the development on land to the back of 59 to 69 Wood Street, Fingerpost at Holly Bank Street playing field.
The most recent public consultation on plans took place between December 22 and January 12.
