Sports pitches closed this weekend
ALL St Helens Council-owned sports pitches will be closed this weekend due to bad weather.
A council statement read: "With rain forecast for most of tomorrow and Sunday, all council-owned grass sports pitches will be closed this weekend (16-17 December)."
The move will lead to the postponement of sports fixtures.
