HOLIDAYS came to town when the Coca-Cola lorry delivered some festive sparkle.
The bright lights of the famous red truck shone at Tesco Extra in St Helens, on Friday, December 1 and hundreds of people turned up throughout the day to get their selfie, pose with the truck and get a free drink.
Friends, toddlers, families and couples queued up for up to half an hour to get their picture with the illuminated lorry.
The event included false snow, Christmas carol karaoke and the iconic song ‘holidays are coming’ from Coca-Cola’s Christmas advert.
Gary Maddock, town centre manager said: “Other than some traffic issues the Coca-Cola truck coming to St Helens has been a lovely Christmas festive thing to happen for our town.
“We had no other issues.”
