POLICE have issued a warning after an increase in bicycle thefts in St Helens town centre.
Officers took to social media to alert cyclists and give advice to ensure their bikes are safely secure.
There has been a rise of pedal cycle thefts in the town centre. Please secure your bikes using the bikes racks in the town centre. We recommend a D shape lock with a security marking 4 or 5. They are difficult to be cut due to being hardened steel.
