POLICE have confirmed a woman was arrested after a car struck a garden wall and flipped over on a road in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The collision happened on Robins Lane, Sutton in the early hours of Sunday, November 12. A woman was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
A police spokesman said: "A report was received at about 3am that a black Vauxhall Corsa car had been in collision with a garden wall on Robins Lane, and come to a stop on its roof.
"Emergency services attended and the driver was taken to hospital for assessment, before being discharged.
"A 26-year-old woman from St Helens was later arrested on suspicion of drink driving and taken to a police station in Merseyside to be interviewed. She has been released under investigation."
