INDIE rockers Stillia have been proudly flying the St Helens flag Down Under after jetting out on tour alongside 80s band Ocean Colour Scene.
The four-piece band from Sutton touched down in Dubai for their first concert before flying to Australia for tour dates in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Fremantle. They will also head to New Zealand for a further two shows.
They have been sharing images of their journey with fans.
Talking to the Star from Australia, lead singer Jack, 21, from Sutton, said: “We did our first show in Dubai and it was mega – everyone was really nice.
“We are loving it here. We just feel so lucky, and we are representing St Helens as well.
“We even took a Saints flag and put it over our amps.”
The band, who signed a record deal last year, recently released their new single 4am and their debut album, produced with Sugar House Music, is due next year.
