PLANS have been submitted which seek to turn premises into gin and coffee shops.
Plans, submitted by Imperial Bar owner Ian Pitts, will see the businesses in two venues on Ormskirk Street.
The application states: "The intention is to utilise the split premises as a gin and coffee shop.
"Patrons would have a wide selection of world gin bottles and coffee types to choose from and purchase.
"The shop would offer an area to sample the prospective purchases on site, plus the ability to make coffees for either sampling, drinking within the shop, and for take-out."
Plans add the shop, if approved, would offer "an interesting addition to the town centre" and would create "two full time jobs and a further three part time".
