Section of St Helens closed after policed called out
A MAN was led to safety after police were called to a bridge last night.
Police confirmed they had attended Sherdley Road Farm Bridge following concerns about a man's safety.
A section of the St Helens Linkway was closed between 8pm and 9pm while police attended the scene.
A police spokesman confirmed a man was taken to safety and detained under the Mental Health Act.
