BIRD-watchers are invited to grab their binoculars and join St Helens Council Rangers for two bird watching walks in Taylor Park at the end of the month (May).

During this joint event on May 31, staff from the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) will be demonstrating how to make your own bird feeders, as the Rangers lead two walks where they will point out species present on the lake, along with any that are passing over.

Those interested in attending the event, which runs from 11:00am to 3:00pm, are asked to meet at the boathouse next to the café.

The Rangers request that dogs are left at home for this event.

For further information, contact the Rangers on 01744 677772 or 01744 678073.
