FORMER Grange Park pupil Norman Owen got back in touch after the unknown face on a photo of the school's first football team was identified.
The nostalgic shot, which captured Grange Park School's first football team and featured in the Star, with all but one of the faces identified by Norman.
"The name of the person missing from the Grange Park football team is, as I have been informed by Fred Hewett, former Leigh RL fullback, is Kenny Watkins, who he says is very much alive and kicking and lives at Rainhill," said Norman.
"I have had numerous phone calls thanking me for the photo which they say has brought lots of memories flooding back for the relatives of those who have passed away and the ones who are still alive and kicking who I meet in town."
