A PUB is looking for residents who know a ‘good egg’ to nominate them for the chance to win £500.

The Lymewood Farm on Galway Crescent, part of Farmhouse Inns, has launched an Easter egg hunt with a difference, by searching for people who go above and beyond for their family and friends.

Five finalists from across the country will then be entered into an online vote in which the public will decide a winner to receive the £500 cash prize, and a family meal at their local Farmhouse Inn.

The four runners up will also receive £100 worth of Farmhouse Inns vouchers as well as a Cadbury World family pass, to help bring the family together this Easter

Kim Armstrong, general manager at the Haydock pub, said: “All families have that one member who organises everything, is always there for others and never shies away from offering a helping hand, so here at Lymewood Farm, we think it’s time to celebrate them.

“We want people to nominate a ‘good egg’ this Easter so we can thank the person everyone in the family relies on, and give them the treat they deserve.

“We know there are lots of ‘good eggs’ in Haydock so we would love a local to win this egg-cellent prize”

To nominate a good egg in your family, visit farmhouseinns.co.uk/good-egg-hunt before Sunday, April 2, and explain in 100 words why your loved one deserves an Easter treat.

The nominators of the five finalists will also receive a family pass to Cadbury World.
