THE Union flag at St Helens town hall is being flown at half-mast in tribute to the victims of yesterday's terror attack in Westminster.
Three people have died and at least 40 have been injured after an attacker drove a car along a pavement, stabbed a policeman and was shot dead by police in the grounds of Parliament.
The dead officer was named as PC Keith Palmer.
Both St Helens MPs Conor McGinn and Marie Rimmer were in Parliament yesterday, which was in lockdown, afterthe incident.
In honour of the victims, the flag is at half-mast over the town hall in Victoria Square.
