Hello again, seems like ages doesn't it since a home league game, so here I am.

The weekend started early on a positive note for me, as I emailed boots n all on sky tv, Thursday, about the Saints new stadium plans, and they actually read it out on air.

It was the only Saints email they read as well. Happy days indeed. Oh on that note, everyone please vote, I'ts what we need and everyone needs to voice this!!!!!

So this week, it was the turn of my Daughter Rachel, and my niece Natalie, to travel with me, and we had planned a camping trip.

This was looking more worrying by the day with all of these floods etc around the country, but being crazy, we pressed on with plans. Setting off at 9 on the Saturday morning, in blue skies, it all looked good, until we reached North Yorkshire, and then the rain came down. Oh its just a shower we convinced ourselves, but the further down we got, the heavier it got. Anyway, we got there in time, infact loads of time to spare. Both tents up, and time to chill out. The field was starting to resemble a lake so we moved higher up, and that was much better!!!!

Then we went off into town to kill a bit of time and get some tea, but I am in the process of applying for a promotion at work, and I had to go into pc world and act as a mystery shopper , which was a good laugh as well. Then the girls dragged me into a pet shop, and now Natalie wants a hamster, and Rachel wants 2 rats??????? Oh deary me!!!!!

Eventually we arrived soaked at the Bull, and had a drink ( don't worry social workers, as they had a coke ), and I chatted on to a few people. I couldn't get into the ground as Derek Acorah ( no not that one ) was giving me a kids ticket he had bought for £1 via the Saints offer. As we waited outside the ground I swear I had loads of people come upto me and say Hi Geordie Saint, a few who I didn't know. I love it when that happens. Also who happened to walk past us, but Tyrone from Coronation Street. Fiz and Molly would have had a few words to say about that I tell thee! Ticket was handed over, and I had to wait for one more thing. A big thing, no a massive thing, my Geordie Saints flag ( see pic ), done at last by Saint or Sinner from the forum ( cheers pal ) . 8 foot by 5 foot, and will now be up at every game of the season. It says Geordie Saints, as more and more people are following Saints and coming down now, through me, so we are all Saints together, one and all. I love it. Match was class, the kids got on Sky tv when we scored, and my flag was up, so look out for it against Leeds onSky next week. Back to the camp site, a nice bit of fish supper and a dvd each. All nice n snug whilst the rain drove down outside. I really love all of this experience I do. Cant wait for next week, and hopefully drier weather.
