WORKMEN are being warned that thieves are targeting vans overnight.
Police have urged vehicle owners to remove tools and stay vigilant after incidents overnight in Newton-le-Willows and Sutton.
Merseyside Police turned to Twitter to issue a warning, with one message reading: "Stay vigilant, report anyone suspicious and remove your tools overnight."
