TRAFFIC: Motorists warned to expect delays
MOTORISTS are being warned of delays this weekend as carriageway resurfacing works get underway.
It will affect travel in the Newton-le-Willows and Bold areas of St Helens
Works will begin on Crow Lane East at the junctions of Ashton Road and High Street, requiring road closures on Crow Lane East in both directions from 6pm on Saturday 29 October until Monday 31 October.
And resurfacing works on Tibbs Cross Lane in Bold mean the road will be closed in both directions from 7pm on Sunday 30 October to Monday 31 October 2016.
Signed diversion routes will be in place, and access to properties and businesses will be maintained, say St Helens Council.
