A NURSERY manager will attend an awards ceremony in London this weekend after she was nominated as a finalist.
Manager Sarah Fillingham of Portico Day Nurseries has been voted through as a finalist in the Nursery World Awards 2016 in the individual award, Early Years Professional and Early Years Teacher category.
Director at Portico Day Nurseries, said: “Sarah has implemented so many new ideas into the settings, keeping her colleagues interested and excited to come and work with the children every day.
"Recently Sarah looked at the planning we used for children’s profiles. After months of research and pilots, the impact we have seen is that we have a very happy team with less stress of paperwork and more focus on the children."
The awards ceremony will take place at The Brewery, London on Saturday, September 24.
