A MAN has appeared in court charged with nine offences, including making threats to kill and two counts of assaulting a police constable.
Nathan Alan Case, 19, from Stanhope Street was arrested by police on Sunday (July 17).
He appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Monday.
He stands accused of common assault, affray, two counts of assault of a police constable, making threats to kill, using threatening behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence, possession of a knife, using violence to secure entry into a private property, criminal damage and possession of a controlled drug.
Police had been called to Stanhope Street at around 12.15pm after receiving reports of a disturbance.
Case was remanded in custody and will appear before Liverpool Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
