Budding young writers asked to get creative
THE Friends of Victoria Park are again calling on youngsters to get creative in a writing competition.
Youngsters can be in with a chance to get their work in print by submitting a 'spooky Victorian ghost story'.
The competition is divided into age groups five to 11 and 11 to 16 and the winner receives a £25 gift token, signed poetry book and their story published on the FOVP website.
The winners and commended entries will get to read their stories at a storytelling event on October 29 at The Gate Lodge, Victoria Park.
