THIS is the dramatic moment a man was pulled from his car that was submerged in water after flash-flooding close to Langtree Park Stadium.
A 72-year-old man was trapped in his vehicle on Peasley Cross Lane at about 2pm yesterday afternoon, with Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service managing to rescue him unharmed.
Reader Mike Dean captured the drama at the flooding blackspot on camera.
He said: "I couldnt believe the speed it came up - I had drove through it 30 minutes earlier and although it was raining heavily it hadn't flooded at all."
