ONE of the Lancashire Hotpots' biggest hits blasted the airwaves on Radio 2 this morning to mark National Fish and Chip Day.
The song, one of the St Helens folk group's best-known tracks was played on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show to mark the occasion in honour of the classic favourite dish.
The track features the lyrics: "Wigan chippys they have baby's heads
In St Helens they serve splits".
