Woman taken to hospital following Newton collision
A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a vehicle was in collision with a bollard.
Two fire engines along with the Search and Rescue team were called to Southworth Road in Newton-le-Willows at 10.45pm on Monday, April 11.
Crews made the vehicle safe and assisted paramedics in removing the 29-year-old. She was taken to Aintree Hospital for further checks.
Firefighters left the scene after around 55 minutes.
