THE driver of a Volkswagen Polo walked away unhurt after the car flipped on to its roof following a collision earlier this morning.
Emergency services were called to Church Road in Haydock just after 7am following an incident involving three cars.
Police said the 19-year-old driver of the Polo was taken to hospital for a precautionary check but was unhurt. No one else was involved.
The incident affected traffic between Haydock and Golborne for approximately two hours.
