Carr Mill Dam will host the trail run
UP to 200 runners will take part in a five mile trail race around Sankey Canal and Carr Mill Dam this Sunday morning.
It starts at the Ship Inn, Blackbrook, at 9.30am on Sunday ( November 1), organised by the St Helens Striders running club with help from the council’s rangers and the Ship Inn.
It’s part of the club’s 30th anniversary celebrations and will see entrants arriving from all over the North West.
After leaving Blackbrook, the route takes in a five mile loop down the Sankey Canal, through Carr Mill Dam and surrounding woodlands.
