CREATIVE children at Willow Tree Primary School have been busy brightening up their school building by creating their own mosaics.
Rainford artist Bernadette Hughes worked with the pupils to create around 60 artworks decorating the outside of the school's entrance, with year six pupil Lucy Kelly's design being chosen as the winner.
"Every single child made their own mosaic from early years to year six," said Bernadette.
"I worked with the whole school to make the mosaic about school. It's all to do with what the Willow Tree is about.
"They made them in the summer and they've finished them now. There's about 60 mosaics and they are really bright and colourful."
