A GREAT turnout is anticipated for St Helens College's Vortex end of year art show.

The event will showcase the works of final year degree students from a range of the college's courses including photography, graphic design and fine art painting.

Graduates from the previous show went on to work as photographers, artists and designers around the world. Matt Frodsham, who graduated from a foundation degree in graphic design, went on to work for Berlin-based Zeitguised and Radka Dolinska was shortlisted for the coveted title of Fujifilm Student Photographer of the year.

This year’s exhibition will seek to maintain those high standards with the creative works to occupy the whole of the top floor of the SmithKline Beecham building. Visitors wanting to view the student’s work are welcome to come to the main reception where they will be directed.

The show will be open from Tuesday, May 19 to Friday, June 5, excluding weekends, with a private viewing on the opening day from 6pm to 8pm. The SKB building is in the college's town centre campus.
