Let me get things straight from the start. I don't like Hull FC, I never have and I never will.

Apart from their canny knack of regularly beating us at the KFC stadium, they seem to play a brand of rugby league which is right in your face without any excitement. Rant over Again due to lack of away funds I decided to give this one a miss with 2 weeks of home games and the easter weekend of games coming up. So off we toddled to the lakes for something chilled out and different.

I actually said that I would not watch the game until I got home on the Sunday so when I do this its away from home and mobile off until the game has been viewed ( a bit like that old episode of the likely lads where they don't want to find out the result ).

We drove to Keswick with tents, sleeping bags etc etc etc, ready for a cheap camping out night. However the further we drove, the harder the rain came down, so a b&b was the order of the day ( yes would have been cheaper to go to Hull, I know, I know ).

So we went out in Rainy Keswick , checking pubs first to make sure the game wasn't on, and because of the rah rah Union Internationals being on I was ok However it would be obvious wouldn't it ( NOT ), that next to us later on, would appear A woman with her bloke,,,,,,,,,,,,, yes you've guessed it, with his blooming St Helens shirt on!!!

Cue me turning the other way, not wanting to see his face incase he looked fed up or something like that , I managed to survive though, amid paranoia on a scale of 11 out of 10. Back home after travelling through deep snow ( ?????? ), and feet up on my own, game on.. We lost again there..why oh why do we bottle it at that stadium?? Oh well, only 5 days till the next game against the current number 1 team in Hull . Hull KR.

Ps anyone got a spare garden I can pitch my tent in over easter, as im in trouble with accommodation, and am staying over for 3 nights, and no camp sites in your area.. I will pay you for your trouble.pleeeeaseas we got 2 games, Friday and the Monday
