NEW owners of a pub that is undergoing extensive redevelopment hope to bring it back into use as a hotel, creating eight jobs.
Mikhail Investments are bidding to retain the Eccleston Arms as a public house but also convert the first floor to hotel accommodation, with eight rooms, a planning application submitted to St Helens Council states.
There would also be an extension to the kitchen area and a fire escape.
The 28-space car park would be improved and marked out.
