HEALTHCARE recruitment firm Castlerock is set to reach a record turnover of £30 million.

The St Helens-based company has also just been ranked number two in the North West Business Insider’s Growth 100 list – an annual list of the fastest-growing companies in the region.

Castlerock Recruitment Group (CRG) saw its revenues jump by 37 per cent in 2014 and the growth is attributed to rising demand from NHS and private healthcare providers for qualified candidates, especially nurses, community health workers and locums.

Currently handling contracts valued at more than £20 million, the company, whose headquarters are in StHelens, has filled more than 569,000 roles in the healthcare sector in the last 12 months.

CRG specialises in supplying a qualified health professionals to NHS and private care providers, including locums, GPs, nurses, health science staff and specialists in allied health, domiciliary care and supported living.

Ian Munro, chief executive of CRG, said: “The shortage of experienced and qualified healthcare staff throughout the UK has significantly increased competition for top candidates in the sector.”

He added: “It’s very easy to take a one-size-fits-all approach by using the same methods to recruit different staff, but this just isn’t possible in the health sector. With a keen eye on care and compliance, we work hard to deliver the highest quality employees available, while ensuring each candidate is dealt with as an individual and their needs are managed throughout the recruitment process.”

Established in 2000, CRG employs 145 staff across the UK. Having significantly diversified its market offering, it is now the parent company to 11 sub-brands.
