THE St Helens Family Arts Club returned to St Mary’s Market on Saturday and has a series of events planned for the year.
The Heart of Glass Family Art Club will take place will take place from January to June on the first and third Saturdays of the month from noon to 4pm.
A wide range of artistic activities will be held at the market over the coming months including sculptural textiles, creating superheroes with mobile phones and exploring St Helens’ industrial and coal mining past.
Also on offer will be a workshop to learn the technique of monoprinting to design a paper shopping bag and the opportunity to create an interactive fabric map of the town.
