THREE men appeared for the first time at Liverpool Crown Court today charged wiht the murder of St Helens teenager Jordan Campbell.
The body of the 17-year-old was found on New Year’s Day inside a burning flat in Tickle Avenue, Parr.
A Home Office post mortem examination revealed he died from a single stab wound.
Daniel Joseph Wiltshire, 25, of Wargrave Road, Newton-le-Willows, Ruben Thomas Hoather, 22, of Tickle Avenue, Parr, St Helens and Anthony Mark Wood, 32 of Elephant Lane, Thatto Heath, are all charged with murder.
They spoke only to confirm their names when they appeared before the Recorder of Liverpool, Judge Clement Goldstone, QC, via video link from Walton prison.
They were further remanded in custody until April 24 when they are expected to enter their plea.
A date for their trial, expected to last three weeks, was fixed to begin on June 15.
