THREE men have been charged today with the murder of 17-year-old Jordan Campbell, police say.
Jordan's body was found in a flat on Tickle Avenue, Parr, on Thursday, January 1 after a series of fires at the property.
A post-mortem examination has concluded that he died as a result of a single stab wound.
Daniel Joseph Wiltshire, 25, of Wargrave Road, Newton-le-Willows; Ruben Thomas Hoather, 22, of Tickle Avenue, Parr; and Anthony Mark Wood, 32, of Elephant Lane, Thatto Heath, have all been charged with murder.
They remain in police custody and are due to appear before St Helens Magistrates' Court tomorrow, Monday, January 5.
Jordan's death followed a New Year's Eve party at the flats that continued into the morning.
