POLICE are making a belated appeal for witnesses to an indecent exposure carried out on a bus in early September.
They have issued CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident which happened on board the 10A on Bridge Street at around 10am on Monday, September 8.
A man got on board the bus and sat down at the back. A woman got on the same stop and sat down next to him.
It was then she noticed he had indecently exposed himself.
The woman, who is 19, immediately moved away and reported the incident to the police.
Detective Constable Victoria Grant said: “The woman was clearly very distressed by what was happening on the bus and has reported the incident to us.
"As part of our on-going inquiries we have issued CCTV images of a man who we think may have important information which could help with our investigation.
"I would appeal to the man, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch with us as soon as possible."
