POLICE in St Helens are asking the public to be vigilant following the theft of prescription drugs.
The medication was taken from the boot of a car, along with groceries and toys on Cooper Street at about 5pm yesterday afternoon.
The drugs taken could be extremely harmful if taken when not prescribed to someone.
Police advise those that have taken it to hand them in to their nearest hospital, surgery or pharmacy
