THE Theatre Royal Trust of St Helens is accepting invitations for new board members.

Currently consisting of ten board members the trust owns the 702 seat theatre on Corporation Street.

It is currently let to a theatre operator at an annual rent.

In addition to the eight ‘A’ directors appointed every three years the board includes a director chosen by St Helens Council and two appointed by the Friends of the Theatre Royal.

The board is currently looking for ‘A’ directors and is inviting applications from anyone interested in joining.

All walks of life are welcome to apply aged 18 and over with a strong interest in securing the future of live theatre both professional and amateur in St Helens.

Applications should be made to 28 Church Road, Rainford, St Helens, Merseyside WA11 8HE.
