BLEAK Hill Primary School in Windle is leading the way for a healthy eating scheme with help from Edge Hill students.
Working in partnership with the Youth Sport Trust, Bleak Hill will promote a programme to encourage healthy eating in schools across St Helens.
University and primary school will work side by side.
Edge Hill’s Senior Lecturer in PE and School Sport Sarah Pinder said: “This has been a great opportunity for students following the BA (Hons) PE and School Sport degree to put theory into practice. They have planned and delivered a varied programme which has both enthused and challenged the pupils at Bleak Hill.”
