FAMILY owned furnishings retailer Ena Shaw has been part of the retail landscape on Duke Street in St Helens for more than 80 years.

The store, founded by Ena Shaw herself, is looking forward to welcoming both existing and new customers as part of the 2014 Independents’ Day campaign and is currently offering up to 50 per cent off across the store for its summer sale.

It’s been an exciting few years for Ena Shaw Home. With an investment of £250,000, the store was completely refurbished in March 2013 with a stylish new look and a significantly extended furniture department.

The refurbishment programme was completed this March, with Saints rugby star Gary Wheeler opening a new Sleep Centre on the second floor of the store.

Ena Shaw Home’s latest development is the launch of the new ES Essentials range, which features three new collections of stylish yet affordable furniture for the living room, dining room and bedroom, as well as soft furnishings and carpets.

Contemporary in style, the collections are fashion forward to appeal to the style conscious home owner.

And the low price points mean that as your tastes change, your furniture can too. Keith Barlow, retail director of Ena Shaw Home, said: “It has been a great year for us so far and we’re thrilled to be part of Independents’ Day 2014.

“I’m confident that Ena Shaw Home will continue to evolve and to go from strength to strength over the coming years, thanks to our comprehensive range of home furnishings, our personal service and the continued support of the people of St Helens.”
