THREE people were arrested in Newton-le-Willows and Haydock this morning as part of a crackdown on drug supply.
Officers from the specialist Matrix Serious Organised Crime team led an operation in St Helens this morning.
During a search of the property in Haydock officers seized a quantity of cannabis and a large amount of cash.
- A 22-year-old man from Newton-le-Willows is being on suspicion of being concerned n the production of Class A controlled drugs.
- A 22-year-old man from Haydock has been arrested on suspcion of being concerned in the production of class A controlled drugs and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs (cannabis).
- A 24-year-old woman from Haydock has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs (cannabis).
The three arrested have been take to a police station where they will be questioned.
