THE North West Air Ambulance Charity is marking 15 years of saving lives by calling on people to share their inspirational stories.
Since 1999 it has flown more than 18,000 missions and the charity is asking anyone who has needed or supported them through this time to record their messages on video.
Last year they carried out 1,800 rescue missions alone. The charity relies on donations to help keep their helicopters operational.
Whether flying to the regions motorways, remote countryside or city centres, they cover 5,500 square miles and provide a service to around 8m people.
The helicopters fly 365 days a year with doctors and paramedics on board providing rapid treatment.
Anyone who wishes to take part can upload their video at nwaa.net.
