A ROGUE trader has admitted trying to con women by claiming he had washed windows and repaired roof tiles.
Darren Greenhalgh, 27, of Higham Avenue, Eccleston, pleaded guilty to four offences last month.
In one of his crimes – all committed in Eccleston between March 23 and March 27 – he fraudulently claimed to have carried out repairs at the home of an elderly woman who suffers short term memory loss.
He charged “an excessive” amount of money.
In two cases he claimed to have repaired roof tiles and in another he said he had washed windows.
All victims were women.
He was bailed before sentencing next month.
